Brexit Impact:
(does not apply to Meraki Go)
UK Shipping impact:
Ciaco has warranted that their shipments will be made as normal, with correct paperwork etc. so that UK customers experience no difference in servvice level or pricing.
Please note that NEW Cisco Direct hardware shipments to UK (which is all Cisco Meraki) are now shipping normally. We are advising customers to please expect an extra day or two at the border (at least initially).
However, for orders placed and shipped before ~21st Jan we had encountered a number of unexplained shipping delays of physical product. We are actively pursuing any delayed orders on our customers’ behalf wiht Cisco and UPS. Almost all are now moving again as hoped. In a small number of cases goods got stuck due to border issues, and so we placed additional backup orders at no cost to customers to ensure that they receive shipments in reasonable time.
Licenses are shipping as normal.
Tax/Duty/Tariffs:
Thankfully, Cisco will act as the importer to UK meaning that no extra documentation will be needed from customers or End Users.
Cisco also confirmed that they will be covering the tax/duty in all shipments post-Brexit, meaning that no extra cost will occur for you for Cisco/Meraki orders, whether in UK or EU. (Thankfully there is a deal, and the tariff is 0% anyway)
EU Customers please note:
Thanks to the UK-EU trade deal 0% tariffs will apply. So the prices you will pay will be exactly the same, and shipping will be direct from Cisco in NL, not via UK.
EU orders are shipped directly to you from NL, not via UK.
